Iris Reticulata is a new bulb for me. I have seen pictures of the flowers but never tried them before. Dutch Iris I love and usually plant some each fall. Then I needed crocus to replace all the crocus that just dissapeared here from all my years of redoing garden beds. I wanted to go really high on the crocus numbers, closer to 2,000 than 1,000 but I knew I just couldn't manage to deal with more bulbs that I have already ordered. So next fall I figgure I will be planting lots more crocus again.
Daffs are a staple, always have to add at least a few. But really, really went nuts on the tulips this year. I have planted my usual types of Darwins, Truimph and Late Tulips. But I also tried Emporer, Greigii, Kaufmanniana and species tulips for the first time. We will see what I think of them all next spring.
