I am new to some of the different aerophytes but am surprised to see the surface coated with epoxy.

I can see it would make the display more permanent but always assumed these plants' roots would delve into the surface of the wood. Apparently I was wrong.

Do I see that you drill the holes in these displays for the plant roots?
