Char...your daylily reminds me a lot of Fujita Scale which changes appearance also. There are some photos in the database for reference.
Do you know the parents of your seedling or in this an unknown cultivar? I'd love to see something like it with teeth or if the same ploidy, crossing it with Jerry Hyatt might be interesting!
