The bigger the better. My Hosta liners did well but I got other plants and liners that did not do well. For one thing I am farther south and its too hot to ship plants in the middle of summer, which is what they did. Also I can't plant things after June, there is not enough time for them to put down roots. I need to pick my own ship dates, most of the co-ops ship when they choose to and that's not working for me. Lost a lot of plants last summer.
