Today at our daylily club Christmas Party, one of the ladies made a garden art plate. She used an outdoor Silicone glass glue. She also used a salt/pepper shaker as her holder. She then found some pipe the correct size and used this for her post.

I personally use the hockey pucks because that is the way that I saw them originally at AHS National in Columbus, OH this summer. We have a pro hockey team in Houston so it's not too far a drive to pick them up. They cost $1.25/each. You drill the hole into the side of the hockey puck the same size as the stake that you will be using.

Some great pictures Robin. Thumbs up I really loved the Asian spoons (glad that I kept reading so that I would know what they were). My sister-in-law makes the plates where you drill and they make up pretty also.

So glad that I found this site many months ago. Am going to suggest to members of Brazosport Daylily to join and see what interesting projects that might make a light bulb go off. Always love the gardening tips for each week. Here is a picture of one that I gave away today.Thumb of 2012-12-03/dera/303b31
