Welcome, Pat. Don't let us scare you. We're a friendly bunch. Smiling

I have to put in a good word for Rud fulgida "Goldsturm". It might not be the showiest, but it's certainly the only lasting, true perennial I've had. The hirtas are very short lived for me, and really look best when I use them as annuals. I wintersow some every year.

Of the hirtas, I'm partial to the yellow ones with green eyes. Prairie Sun is probably my favorite.

One year I grew both those and Irish Eyes, another green-eyed one. Seeds I harvested that year produced some interesting doubles the next year.
