SC, I do know there are beautiful primroses out there, and I will take you up on a chunk. My experience with them has been impulse buys at the grocery store just to get some color in early spring. They are jolly for the first season, but after that (for me) they mostly revert to dark purple with tiny blooms, after which the foliage just looks scrappy. I really should try some from a nursery - I've seen some gorgeous pictures of the taller ones in naturalized drifts.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
