We are putting up the plastic over the hoop house today. 'Supposed to be really windy tomorrow ahead of the front that brings freezing weather Sunday night. I'm still finding pots that need to go in somewhere, including a large pot of black bamboo that our neighbors wouldn't appreciate escaping into their yard.

Josephine, I found that even the gallon pots would freeze without taking them in during a freeze here. Maybe up there your plants are more acclimated to the cold to start with?

I've given so many plants away this past summer, traded a few, and rooted lots for the garden club. I still can't make room for everything I want to keep. DH is being very patient, but keeping an eye on what's left of his garage space! If he "snaps," I'll show him Pod's greenhouse...again.
