I had read that this type does not like to go dormant and keeps it's leaves year round. It does have a rest in the fall (for me) where it doesn't put up any new leaves for about 2 months ( doesn't loose the old ones though) then goes into a growth spurt. I had changed my fertilizer a couple years ago because I thought of that too but it hasn't helped. The only time it bloomed was the winter it spent in my livingroom where it only got about 2 hours of sun in the late afternoon. Maybe I should put it back there? When I had bought this it was dormant and had been dried off for sale with the typical fall Amaryllis sales. It sat there growing roots (which is the only reason I kept it) for almost 2 years before it put out it's first leaf.
