Would you believe?
Although they do not like being disturbed, the two were in the same pot and I may have over watered tham, so after they had all of this, I decided out of desperation to divide them and pot them again with 90% new soil into new pots. This may be what they wanted because they seem fine now and I am dribbling water occasionally which seems to work well. They were outside in 50 or below temps but when it started going into the 40s I decided to bring them inside.
