My plant is Lampranthus 'pink vygie' blandus.
You can see in this picture the plant had almost died from lack of water in the middle of the summer and we have hot ones!! Luckily it's a succulent and i was able to bring it back, despite the dried up stems you see at the bottom of this picture. You can see the new growth it has such pretty pink stems.
I noticed some of my plants are taking longer to dry out than normal and we are trying to figure out why just these plants are doing this.I have some clay pots that i have noticed a very small amount of what i believe is mold. It's a white substance that i can wipe off with a wet or dry towel. Most plants get moved around,if a plant looks like it needs sun i will bring it back put it under the light, but there are some plants that have been in the back under the lights since i brought them in and yes the ice plant is one of them.I noticed it drooping and i hope i caught it soon enough. If you click the last 2 pictures you can see the drooping stems. In the 2nd. picture you may be able to see what i'm talking about on the outside of the pots.My thick leaf succulents are the only plants that stay under the lights & almost never get watered.
I know i can re-pot the plant. What do they like to be potted in ? Can i take some cuttings from it now & if so how do i take the cutting & from where on the plant? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
