On the flip side, what rudbeckias have you found to self-sow freely? That is what I'm after. I've had very little luck with Goldsturn, it grows nicely for me but I have to physically divide it to get a larger clump. No self-seeding whatsoever, and I don't cut it down over winter. Maybe the birds get to the seed before it drops. This year, I grabbed off some of the flower heads and tossed them here and there hoping for some volunteers. We'll see come spring.
