Clever! I knew I'd been hanging onto those clearance-priced silver balls for some reason.... mine are only 5 or 6 inches across, but that will work for a lot of the little plants that aren't big enough for a regular basket yet... I love your spider plant, and I can also see doing a collection of different succulents, each in its own little ball.

I also want to use some to make decorative balls with self adhesive drywall tape and Qwikwall.
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
