Electric issues solved. Had to have a new GFI plug-in and a new circuit breaker. All is well now.

I bought a whole roll of the row cloth a few years ago. I had cut into large pieces for the beds out front, and then I "pinned" it down with anchors I fashioned out of clothes hangers. It worked fine on a still night, but not so well in the wind. Some would blow down the hill and I'd lose them. Once I started putting my address on the pieces, I'd get them back. Now we don't cover anything out front. I find that sheets seem to protect better in the backyard than the row cover when we have a hard freeze. It looks like an old Southern cemetery out there when I drape flowered sheets everywhere.
