Every rose of mine is a dried up husk that grabs me as I walk by. It's amazing how thorny some of these roses really are! We got more snow yesterday, so shoveled the driveway & walk way into the roses so they get what teeny moisture was in the snow. it was the "Colorado Gold" (powder) stuff that has so little moisture, but ANY moisture is welcome right now. At least I don't have to water this week.. maybe next week. It's finally gotten to be seasonably cold.. it had been in the 50s & 60s, which is ridiculously warm. Now it's in the 20s & 30s for the highs. Looks like autumn is finally over & winter's finally settling in. And because it's been clear at night w/no cloud cover, it's been VERY cold at night.. in the single digits. I don't think it's gone into the negatives yet. Just 5 more months!!
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...
