Why thank you very much!
I originally struggled to think of a plant that would like to live in this glass jar with no drainage holes. But then I realised, my Calla Lily was in a china pot with no drainage holes so it would work perfectly. I wanted to show the wonderful root system of plants through the glass. Most plants would soon die in this soggy environment, but the Zantedeschia Aethiopica loves to drink! A lot! So the plant dries up the soil very fast, and you'll be topping it up quite a bit more than most of your other plants during winter. The bulbs had been sitting dormant in my attic for 2 years when I remembered their existence and planted them in the china pot at the start of 2012 Summer. Boy am I glad I found them!
