Rick, I went back and read the whole thread. Very interesting! It makes one wonder how much more we'll learn (from each other) over the next few years and how our knowledge of what we know can help a new lilium enthusiast. I so much regret now not joining these forums much earlier because adding my 2 cents worth practical knowledge by association of what works and what doesn't work, ie what to do and not to do, etc. might have been helpful back then. When I finished reading, I was truly regretful. I know there are many other long time lily growers out there who, for whatever reason, choose to remain private and secretive in their hobby and work as I once was. They would have so much more to add.
