Wow, really pretty iris. I have been toying with the thought of a memorial garden featuring iris and daylillies -- there are so many named cultivars I think I will be able to find one suitable for each of my friends/relatives who have passed on, and I could let it be a somewhat loosely structured area. So far on my list are Stacy Ruth iris (first names of each of my in-laws), Rusty Dupuis daylily (last name of my co-worker), Remembering Mom daylily, Just for Dad daylily, you get the picture... My favorite is Cuss a Blue Streak iris for the wife of our good friend who had a notorious potty-mouth. So far this is only in my head and on paper, but perhaps I'll get it started this spring. I haven't decided if I want plaques, or plant markers, or perhaps an item that brings back a memory (my folks were avid boaters, my coworker was an attorney) or even some sort of protected photo. Still thinking on it.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
