Every time this comment thread pops up on my home page due to new entries, I start singing "shoo fly pie" again.

So this morning I just went ahead and played it on my iTunes -- now I'm listening to a 2-album Dinah Shore collection. It's been awhile since I've listened to her -- had forgotten how much I like her voice.

As for apple pan dowdy - it has to wait for payday so I can buy apples, but I'm thinking I'll have to try it.
