Hi Jim! I am working on making the garden look pretty for my kids and granddaughter coming to visit next weekend. Lots to do! Most of the beds I've cleared out have tropical perennials that are dormant now, and things I plant there for color in winter won't work through the summer. I'm thinking of sinking pots and mulching over the edges, as a sort of "cheat" so that I can move the shade lovers after the sun comes back to the north side of the house.

We had a lovely day, sun until almost 4pm here, but the drizzle and fog is moving in now. Hey, it's great for the orchids! All mine got a natural misting this morning, which was nice.
