We took a ride today to our place in NE Pennsylvania, started up the house and took a walk trough the woods. Nothing is up yet, not even the Colt's foot, it is still too early in the season. But the leaves of the Goodyera pubescens looked just fine.
Had to snap a picture - there are hopefully some more plants under the leaf-cover.
This particular Orchid is indigenous to our area, but in all our walks we have never come across it, so I planted some in 2000.
