Rita - For anyone who just planted over a gazillion bulbs, I can't believe that you have an ounce of fat on you anywhere. Your dedication to working out is inspiring me! As soon as I get my results from my MRI for my sciatica and get over this damned flu (it's nasty, I'll tell the world), hopefully I can get back into the gym. What I did when I was working out (when I had the energy to do more than just breathe) was, while at work: (copied & pasted from Cubits)

I sit at work all day behind a desk (yay Thumbs down ) so this is something that takes about 5-6 minutes and you can do it while at work 'cuz that's how I did it. I got a dumbbell (I use personally an 8lb, but start with a light one, like a 3lb). Then do bicep curls (I do 15 each arm, minimum 3 reps), then behind the head tricep raises (holding the dumbbell, raise your arm so that your hand is up in the air, like you're trying to get a teacher's attention. Then let the dumbbell come down SLOWLY behind your head, then raise it back up again. 15 reps, 3 sets per arm). Took about a month, but I went from a 14" flabby jello arm to a 13" not-as-flabby jello arm in about a month (I do this whenever-I-remember, so 3-5 times a week). This honestly is VERY easy and takes little time. What *I* do is a set of bicep curls (right arm), then overhead tricep extensions (right arm), then bicep curls (left arm), then overhead tricep extensions (left arm), then stand up, do 25 body-weight squats, then 10 lunges on right leg, then 10 lunges on left leg. Sit back down, rest for 1/2 hour. Then do it again. So this ENTIRE thing will take probably 20-25 minutes, but by the end, I usually end up doing 3-4 sets on each arm (by the 3rd set, my arms are burning), and a minimum of 75 squats & 30 lunges / leg. It *DOES* work. Honestly. Really. And this is something that ANYONE can do if you have arms & legs that mostly work.

But right now, I don't have 2 legs that work, just 1, and the pain is unbearable some days (been in the ER w/this 4 times now, they give out percoset like M&Ms, which doesn't help w/the pain, just makes me loopy & stupid). So I haven't done much working out. At the same time, my eating has gone way down (I'm taking in probably 500-800 calories / day), so I haven't probably gained a lot from lack of exercise, either.
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...
