Ann, Margaret had sent me some Columbine seeds a year ago and it was that variety and it did well here. It took a long time to get to the point it would bloom but it was gorgeous last spring then rebloomed for me even in our summer heat. I bet it would do well in Florida as well. It is still alive though a bit beat up after a long season.
