You bet Sunshine Girl is my garden helper! She's always been great company out there, and at almost-4 this summer she'll be even more actual help, also. She knows a ton about planting & growing & picking & worms & butterflies & bugs & birds & ... LOL She'll tell you all about it, too! This does look like a project where I could really use her help with wiring the "ladder" to the posts.

I'm thinking that my little clems won't be much for covering these trellises right away, but I can put a clem on one side and then plant pole beans on the other, or plant something not too thuggish (like a Japanese Morning Glory) right with the clematis at the base of the trellis. I've got seeds for several different pole beans and runner beans this year, so we can really have fun with this!
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
