Wish I could take credit, but my husband made them for me. I've been looking for a tutuer plan that was originally in Birds and Blooms magazine. It may have been taken down, or I'm just not finding it. Husband just looked at a photo I had and copied mine, but there were plans for one in one of the B&B magazines a few yrs ago. I'm still looking! Thumb of 2013-01-27/Bubbles/77471d

Found a photo from spring that shows how he made the ones I have. Notice the wires that hold the legs secure. At the top to angle the legs, he said, "Over 1/2 an inch, down an inch and cut it." The tops are fence finials. The green one is pretty, but it's hard to get into the bottom of it to trim anything. I like the newer ones much better.
