I'm impressed with your Calatheas. I never do very well with them even though I'm here in the tropics. I have one pot that is always looking ragged with brown edges on the leaves. I'm going to try using purified water and see if that helps, I was using tap water and it is softened so perhaps that is it. I thought before that the cats were chewing on it so I moved it into a bathroom they can't get in, and it still isn't doing well. It is under a screen roof, lots of humidity, lots of light and air - ?? I've even been threatening it lately, telling it to grow and look good or it was going out in the yard.
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
