Welcome! Serse! I think you're in the right place! (but be careful, these people temp you into expanding your plant collections with photos and info and all the enthusiasm ) I joined ATP in November when I was about to order some semps (including rollers which I totally love! Hedgehog was one of the ones I bought, highly recommend it, they're cute and they grow fast - in Seattle anyway! By the way, sempervivums are cold hardy, so they really shouldn't be bothered by cold, in fact they'll probably like it...water them less but still water if it hasn't rained, and if you do keep them inside for the winter before planting in the ground make sure they're near a drafty window!
Websemps - Bev and I both bought a bunch of semps and planted them (for myself I just liked how they looked I didn't care what they were called) until folks on here kept saying - ooh that's pretty what is it??? And I realized if I don't know what it is, how will I be able to get more of what I liked? Suddenly I am paying attention to names! haha Anyway, I think you'll see we are fun and friendly here! (and there are even some experts...I'm an expert at loving plants and experimenting, and guessing at what a plant's name is!!) Big Grin
