Sent to us from daughter's iPhone Sunday. They were at the lake and these "blobs" were attached to the dock under water. After I e-mailed her back and advised her not to touch them (I remember seeing The Blob when I was young!), she said that they already had.

Now I had to worry that the people coming home weren't going to be the same ones that went up there. Remember the "pods" from outer space?

Took a while for her to research what they were. They are bryozoans. Harmless to humans, and have been sighted in Lake LBJ lately. Supposedly means the water quality is good. If you're curious, Google them. I can only say I would have had a heart attack it this thing had bobbed up to me while I was floating on a raft out there!

I'm still trying to "trip them up" to see if the relatives that came home really are aliens who've taken over earthling bodies...
