Hello Jonna.
No vine. It is on a main stem with some minor branching. The flowers are topping it, & it is putting out quite a few. The flowers only last a couple of days, but they are quite beautiful. My wife likes the plant as you can see in the photos. My son also. He is really getting interested in the plants now. I think we might have found an ID for it in Acanthaceae, but I am really horrible at ID'ing as well.
