There are a lot of different Barlerias, and they come in different colors, too. Purple, pink, white mauve, bi-colored and variegated leaves too. Here's a link with a whole bunch of photos of different colors and styles of barleria. I think a few of them look very similar to Noel's.

I have white ones that look something like that, and also a coral Barleria that has much smaller leaves and grows as a sort of low, sprawling plant. Here's the coral one.
