It is waterproof! The only thing I use my camera for is taking pics of my flowers. My mom and I are really close. We both walk our gardens in the morn and evening. Always taking pics and them posting them on Picassa. We chat back and forth over the pictures. Well, we used to! She signed up for Google+ and I refuse to. So I can't comment on her photos now. But I still take lots of pics of my gardens. For me it serves as a journal.
