Dog Lover Foliage Fan Native Plants and Wildflowers
gg5, I like lots of different plants, Perennials mostly, some annuals for color. I have a a lot of yard so I'm not limited, other than exposure. I have a lot of shade, and part shade. Limited amount of full sun. I really got into Brugs a couple of years ago, but they bloom very late for me so have been cooling my jets on them. Attempting to thin them out. I have been collecting some succulents, when I find ones that appeal to me (most all of them!) I just started trying some rose cane propagation. We'll see how that goes. I have had some tropical Hibiscus and love them, but my green house is not warm enough for them over winter. I lost some really nice ones last winter and have not replaced them. The remaining one lives in my house over winter and is becoming quite a shrub! I'll be happy when spring comes so I can kick it outside. Have a bunch of African Violets, I seem to gather those also. Mostly trading with friends. I guess you can say, "I've never met a plant I didn't like" My car stops at nurseries!
Seems each year I find a plant I love and lust after every color that grabs me. Last summer it was Agastache. I collected several different ones, found out the gophers love them just as much as I do.
So it is hard to say I collect or love just one thing.
