There will indeed be all the sorting options you could want. So categorizing by genus is, I think, a bit redundant and un-necessary.

While categorizing by genus may seem redundant, I'd like to be able to click on my category "Daylilies" and see ONLY daylilies, instead of having to scroll through non-daylilies. Hilarious! And right now to do that, I have to individually edit each DL in my list to categorize it, because I have 48 DLs that were added before it occurred to me to create a category.

It would be *really* nice to have a checkbox in front of each row in the "Manage my lists" page that would let me tag all or several plants at one time to categorize them. While right now, I'm just calling them DLs, I might at a future date categorize nocturnals, earlies, Mids, peach-colors, etc, and again it would be really nice to be able to tag a bunch of plants that were listed before the category existed.

Is that anywhere in your grand scheme of things? I don't think it would over-complicate it for non-power-users, and might even be appreciated by them. (and if it's already there, I apologize, but I'm not seeing it)

Thanks!

I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll do that second week.
My yard marches to the beat of a bohemian drummer...
