Meanwhile, don't remember what thread it was on but I said I'd seen a metal sculptural piece in the trash...I did go back and get it, but I needed help getting it home, and the friend who was helping me wanted it more than I did He suggested I use a floor lamp base for what I want, good idea, now I have to find that!
