I feel I should mention that we got a phone call a few days ago, just around the time that Debra mentioned that she was getting a message about someone trying to download something. My husband took the call, and the person speaking had such a heavy accent that he could hardly understand it, but that person said that someone was downloading something onto people's computers, and he could hardly understand her but he felt it was something like maybe a virus. Anyway, he told her that we have a Mac and are not affected by such things and hung up on her because he suspected a scam, but now I'm wondering if maybe there is something that has been or is infecting computers through the internet.

We have not gotten any further calls about it and have not had any problems, but is there any way that those of you who are getting these messages can check your virus detection software to see if maybe something like that happened?
