I really like the Ada Keiliana X Odm. triumphans, Jim. It looks a bit like my Odbrs. mem Nikoline Lorentzen 'Marz Starz' that tried to bloom last summer before the raccoon broke off the spike. Green Valley is amazing. Wonder what the human rights advocates would say if they knew we were growing little people . . .. little alien people dressed for Carnavale.

We're getting a spritz of rain with this front passing now. It's also starting to really blow here - I'm worried I'll lose all the little mangoes that are already on my tree. DH went to Lk. Eustis for a sailing regatta but he just called to say they never got any races off before the weather came through. He says they'll sail tomorrow - Hah! It's going to be below freezing up there tomorrow morning.

I have all the frost covers ready to deploy, and all the 'chids gathered in the little greenhouse shelf units, with water jugs at the ready to fill with warm water before I go to bed. Phew! glad we haven't had to do this often this winter. Bloomers are coming indoors to grace the kitchen counter for the next few nights.
