No, no, I'm here but have been suffering with a bit of stomach flu. I love to cook when Patty is away but I had no appetite. I began feeling better today and will pick her up at the airport around midnight tonight.

Ursula, you have been putting on quite a show. My 16 bloomers have still not been returned so I have anxiously been monitoring new spikes. Just today Degarmoara Flying High is beginning to open.

The first of a large number of blooms on Dendrobium spectabile has opened. This is an incredible plant with probably 50 buds on it.

Gongora smaug (Gon. clavidora X pterodactyl) is dropping spikes out of the bottom of the plant. Soon the OC will be full of little pterodactyls flying about.

I have two Epc. Rene Marques 'Tyler' plants and this one is blooming in the OC while the other is at the state fair.

This last flower on B. nodosa X C. netrasiri waxy is a little faded but still hanging in there.

I just got a call from Patty. The flight is delayed and will now arrive at 1:15 AM tomorrow. I'm too old for this silliness. Last night's low was 39 degrees here. There is no damage that I can see.
I'll leave you with a picture of the landlord, who came to visit this afternoon. He likes to sit atop the fountain and make sure everyone is behaving properly.
