Yes, it’s pretty cold here… but at least it’s getting brighter, the sun is up at 7 am and down 5pm and it’s getting better every day.

The soil is a mix of some fine gravel and potting soil. The soil dries quite quickly so I think it’s a good mix. It’s not compact but rather fluffy.

The heater was blowing on the pot to heat it up, but I think it got too hot so I’ve changed strategy now. I’ve put the pot on a radiator which heats up the pot from below. When the heated air from the bottom of the pot meets the cold air from above it will create some circulation around the inner pot. I’ve also added an extra lamp that’s on a timer.

I’ve posted a picture from outside the window, the trees outside have no leaves. Glare

Gone2seed, thanks I hope you’re right. Smiling The caudex feels firm. It’s mostly the higher parts that feels soft, not mushy.
