I have bought quite a few from him and Mike44 and they do not mark you paid till they ship. When I first started out I had no feedback at all and asked him to mark a few and he did (mike44). He has a full time job and is very busy so I do not email him.
I am glad you said something to Abundantdalilies because he has a website and looks to be a full time seller so maybe he has a reason, but I don't know.
I mark my own paid as soon as I pay them, so I will know who has been paid and helps keep me straight. Use the toggle switch and just ignore it, I think it does confuse the new people.
