Although I'm not in the market for Hibiscus, I've got to say, those prices are indeed nice! I have the Luna Pink Swirl as a container plant that I'm thinking of putting in the ground if I ever get around to it.

I don't remember for sure but I think I paid @ $14.95 for my plant at a local store last year, and it was a small plant.
