I find generally that when something grows up and then it spreads and gets more stem and leaves, that the plant starts to weigh down and all the branching starts to go sideways especially when the stems are soft and long. Mostly it is the stiffer stemmed sedums that grow more upright but even then the weight of the many leaves can make them bend (like your pork and beans)...
