Very nice choices, Elaine. I wish there was a Cosco close to my house but they are few and far between around here.

I'm just back from the orchid club meeting fresh with a 'Member's Choice' ribbon and five new babies for the OC. The first one to grab my attention was Epi. stamfordiaqnum, a species and in spike, See http://www.orchidspecies.com/e... for a picture.

The second is Bulb. Doris Dukes 'Joe'. Doris is the wife of Bill Thoms and they were both at the meeting. I couldn't find the 'Joe' variation picture but here is Bulb Doris Dukes: http://www.clanorchids.com/pag...

The third one is Encyclia Lee Ward (adenocaula X tampensis V. semi-alba). See http://www.stpeteorchidfarm.co... ninth row down.

The fourth one is Lc. Eva and is it ever in flower. It is C. aurantiaca X L. cinnabarina 'poppy'.

The last one is an old time Cattleya species, C. skinneri, in spike. See http://www.orchidspecies.com/c... I have always liked this orchid.
