The sow had prolapsed before - neither time was she pregnant, but she may have had an abdominal tumor, and, yes, it can be genetic in pigs too.

Mary how many ewes do they breed? Also are you responsible for calf watch too? Our heifers are done calving, the cows should start mid-month.
