No, Ursula my skiing days were finished when we moved here from Utah. I think this injury was incurred due to wrassling with a load of mulch bags at the local nursery.
It's already much better, but I had to stop bending and moving so much, and keep it strapped up. Problematic when I've had to be fussing around the garden covering up all my plants against the cold.
As long as I sit here at the computer with my feet up, it feels ok. Laughing is what I miss the most . . .
