When I lived WAY upstate NY (on the Canadian Border east of Lake Ontario), my DH & I would go fishing at a teeny little town called Dexter or off a creek just outside of Dexter called Muskellunge Creek. It was there at Muskie Creek the first time I saw a bald eagle in the wild close up.. he flew right over me about 10 feet off the ground. WOOSH! Pretty amazing sight.
