Here's how to begin to add plants to the database:

At the top of this page, you'll see Plant Database (right next to Home). Click on it. On the next screen, under Browse and Search, type in Palms or the type of palm, such as mule palm, and click the green Search button. There aren't many palms there, so look down at the bottom and it reads "Add a new plant to the database." The next screen will walk you through adding the plant. If you know the botanical name of the palm you can enter it and its information. You will receive a message that the entry has been accepted. Then you can add the photo. if the plant has already been entered by someone else, you may add your photo to it.

I'm sure someone else can explain this better, but it really is easy. We'd love to have photos of your palms, seeds, fronds and anything else you'd care to share. Once you enter one, you'll see how easy it is.
