Lorn, I'm just about to see what pics I have of single flowers from the show.

I agree about the L. rosthornii, Rick, which I think is why I like it so much. (Apart from it having all those 'little things' I like so much in lilies... whiskered papillae! Drooling ) Seeing it was "wow! Look at all the potential that was hidden in the genes of that unassuming henryi look-alike, and so much more to go!" That seedling has a unique appearance that really promises great things for the future. When I think of the impact L. henryi has had on our modern hybrids, L. rosthornii is all that and so much more! Just superb.

Of course the oriental hybrids are beautiful too. :D

I picked up a packet of seed ((L. rosthornii x L. henryi) x L. henryi var. citrinum) selfed, though not certain it's from the same hybridist Confused There may be a spare seed or three Hilarious!
