Doris, I don't fertilize that particular section of DLs, so I don't know that will make a difference. However, she's been in the ground through 3 winters now, so that *should* make a difference. Autumn Red is listed as a mid-season, but I don't know what that means for us. Last year was the first year I paid any attention to my DLs as far as when they bloomed etc, and as we know, last year was abnormal in terms of seasons.
