Oh, I read somewhere that microwaves often heat with higher heat than boiling water on stoves, so it could destroy sugar molecules in the solution...or something like that. Sometimes I wonder about these things...like whether they've been scientifically proven. I would guess it might be hard to get a grant for scientists to study hummingbird nectar making methods.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
