Hurray! I was thinking the same thing but maybe different. Instead of PVC pipe why not use 1/8" or a slightly smaller gauge GI wire? Stiff, durable, light and malleable enough to manipulate. Two pliers for bending and twisting as to the ends of the chicken wire, gloves workers leather at back are a must and soft binding wire to wrap around and hold in place. I put gloves in bold for the ladies but gents will be better off with them on. Vicious thing, chicken wire netting. Shrug! These days I am working with it. No major damage, just like sticking your hand into a Opuntia cactus. Lots of ouches but no major blood lose Hilarious! .
Regards,
Arif.
